I have read that these plugs are recommended for cars with increased boost, but are they ok for cars running stock boost
Thanks guys

Yes, they will be absolutely fine.
In theory, they should make the car slightly harder to start from cold, but there has never been (AFAIK) any such issues in respect of our application in the 6A13TT.

yeah they work fine on stock boost car , good idea to use them if your going to up boost in the next 40,000 miles
Thanks guys
1 thing to note when changing to a colder plug is the possibility that your MPG may worsen if you are on stock boost or just pootling around!
Hmm..cheers Glen,
not sure when i intend to up the boost, might hold back until i get a boost controller of remap
I've never noticed a difference TBH. My opinion is the same as Johns - they work well on stock boost and are a good idea for raised boost. Fit them and cover all bases.
Thanks Nick....
these right? cheapest i found, just listed for different car

ash
Yes Ash, they should be right.
Wodj - I'm not at all intending to look like I am arguing with your facts, just stating that I have not noticed any difference. Is it maybe that the 6 to the 7 is not enough of a difference to have a significant effect?
Nick.. Not saying you were, and if you wanted to, you still could anyway I am running 7's and although there are many other factors that can affect my Fuel Economy, i think the 7's are 1 of the these.
Quick question though Nick ? When was the last time you ran Standard Boost, Fuel Maps with 7's for any reasonable amount of time, and monitored your MPG
A few years ago, admittedly! But I have also got reasonable experience of others cars. My current car is rubbish on MPG with standard boost, but I haven't checked the plugs yet!
