I Presently Own A Volvo T5 Estate. (225bhp). I Love It But Its Getting On 145,000 Miles. Could Anyone Advise Which Estate To Buy(bhp Is A Priority As Is A Leather Interior) What Year, What To Look For When Buying , What To Avoid. I Do Not Wish To Spend More Than £8000

£8k will get you a nice example of a 97 or possibly 98. The facelift came out at the end of 98, you may find one for 8 if you are lucky. Sunroofs are rare on these cars, as is a manual gearbox. Mechanically the buyers guide is a good piece of reference material!

If you dont need warp speed you would be able to get a fantastic V6 Sport for that money. If you are on a budget it may be a better bet than the VR4 due to high running costs. If you are not you will struggle to beat the VR4!

There are a lot of VR4s for sale at the moment and the price is very variable, it seems to be a buyers market! Prices range from very cheap to 'it aint gonna sell at that!'

Leather is not all that common, manuals are like rocking horse doo doo, but the Auto is fantastic!!!

I wanted leather too, but the Recaros in my 99 model are great, I was won over straight away!
