    i have both manual and auto vr4's 22 mpg from the auto and 26 mpg from the manual with the same driving styles and is very consistant

    I'm getting 23mpg from my PFL auto on LPG. I pay 72p a litre for it so equivalent cost to 42mpg on petrol. Nearly as cheap to drive as my 1.0 suzuki swift.
    Too much is just enough.

    I got an original manual and if i better 27mpg on a long run then it's an outstanding day, think i'm getting somethin like 17mpg round town. If i worked it out right on the trip back up to N.E. Scotland after Japfest i got bout 250 mile to a full tank, and that was filled right up the spout to the almost dribelling out the filler cap.

    VR-4 & 1.0 Swift - a truly awesome car combination!



    My VR-4 averages around 16-18mpg. It will however return 30mpg on the motorway.
