Stefan, I hope that you don't plan on fitting that massive FMIC intercooler leaning against the wall? (Picture with car on hoist with dark haired guy in front).

There are three main plugs to the vr4 engine loom inside the cabin, One will have 3 or 4 heavy gauge wires running to it, that plug *should* be the same as the str however hover the blk/blue is the fuel pump wire, the red/black is start signal and the black/yellow is power from the ignition barrel IG 1. (I could have those last two around the wrong way colour wise)

There should be a long white plug with a purple clip: that is mostly OBD diag wires, and reverse switch and speed.

There will be another similar long white plug, that will have 1 less row of pins, that is your dash, IE oil light, water temp, tacho (white with shielding), handbrake.

Theres also two connectors under the fuse box. fan speed, ac relay, ac sw and permanent power in one, and two of the alternator wires and start signal in the other.

I have all the colours written down somewhere if u need it, but thats only for the engine, the auto trans is a whole another kettle of fish. I would assume it also has separate loom, as it has a separate ecu.

If the car was ayc it will have wires that run down to the sensors under the center console and a breakout connector under the stereo.

Id use the power loom from the 25st, however the vr4 could very well be the same, on the vr4 the rear injectors are on the power loom, but are pretty easy to separate

Good luck bud, Ive done a similar conversion, so no the engine loom pretty well, only a pm away if your stuck

Also, In regards to the rocker cover seal, 9/10 times its just the bolts come lose, I did mine up on the old motor, degrease and never gave me a problem again, Just dont over tighten!

@Ryan: No, I won't fit that. This belongs to a agricultural machine (corn harvester).

@Taylor: Thanks for the input. I'll use the VR-4 engine loom (and hope it'll work). Of course you'll receive a PM if I am stuck. Thanks for this kind offer.

BTW, anyone here to confirm, what this cable (black with white stripe) is for?
    Foto122.jpg

it is located near the intake manifold, where the two plugs are held.

Im sure that wire was a smaller gauge, IIRC that condensor connects back up to the coils??

Alex & Taylor, this is not cut away, the cable has been taken out of a connector. The metal sleeve is still in place and intact. It must be something in the area of the throttle body, as the cable comes from wherer the other cables come from. Could it be this bit?

    just a small addition today.

I ordered some SuperPro bushings for the front lateral arms at Sumopower and they confirmed to have them stocked and send them off today. This is necessary because the bolt securing the suspension was seized to the metal sleeve. Looking forward to get them fitted and to the difference they make. Unfortunately the thread on here was not completed with some ratings from people who have changed to boly bushes.
