Carbon Trunk

Hi,
i´ve seen this carbon trunk from VIS Racing Sport:

But i don´t know if the trunk fit on my Galant. I´ve heard the US Galant is different to the japanese/european Galant. Is it true?

The pic in the link looks more like an evo to me. The US Galant front ends are different to ours but I'm not sure about the back.

Dennis, ask Yoshio from the german forums. He can confirm if the US taillights will fit the German models. If so, then the trunk lid will fit too. AFAIK, the tail lights can be fitted so the trunk lid will fit too.

Yes it´ll fit. They use an eu spec trunk for the counterpart. Like you see on the number plate position. Only the trunk springs are a problem, cause the steel trunk more heavy than the carbon trunk.

It's *possible* that the easy (and free!) remedy would be to remove one of the springs, rather than to try and source replacement springs with a more suitable rate.
