    Rear box dilemma!

OK - here's a simple question!! Well, several really!! Rear box has a hole in it above the entry pipe so I'm thinking new stainless rear box. What are the things to beware of with after market ones e.g. how much do they affect performance? How critical is the 'tuned length'? Is it true that the less magnetic the better the quality? Providing intake dia is correct does it matter too much about the length or outlet dia? Any recommendations please?

I would speak to a local exhaust firm that specialise in stainless fabrication... they car be expensive but usually come with a lifertime guarantee...... long term it should work out cheaper...... if you just want a back box, I would take measurements off the old box as a guide, inlet has to match up for welding but other than that it's about the sound, which is obviously pretty subjective.....
