Looked cool on tv last night =)
Just watched England vs the pumas. England did not deserve that win at all!

I think they did!!
It was a hard fought match and eventually England proved their worth with a well worked try.
I will admit that they were not well organised for long periods in the game.
All the kicking, both sides, was awful.

Agree with Tim, England did create a good try. The teams seemed pretty even up until the last quarter when Arg simply run out of puff and couldn't create any opportunities and instead gave away penalties in their own half which should have been put away by Wilkinson. It was as if he had two right feet the whole evening.
On the whole I think that all the minnows have really impressed so far. Romania and Japan, even Namibia to an extent, all put on good performances. Today's matches will also be interesting. Australia should beat Italy, I am tipping USA to upset Ireland and South Africa to beat Wales.
Man any one watching the Japan vs France game?
Its a very good game the japs are taking it to the frogs =)
For sure, Lièvremont was pissed!
Come on Italy!
Good effort USA, defended like demons and also scored a thoroughly deserved intercept at the death!
how unlucky were Wales?
they so nearly upset the world champs.
Wales v RSA game was the best so far. (Not bad for a British Provincial side!)
Japanese starting scrum-half was the hardest working, most enthusiastic #9 I've seen in ages. Japs played at full throttle throughout.
Cheers,
Barney

SA has much room for improvement.
You thought that was forward? None of us did
Referee only has as a say IF the touch judges are in disagreement about the outcome of a penalty goal attempt. It is the Touch judges who have the responsibility to judge the success of a penalty goal attempt. Law 6B4(a). However, with referees running touch these days they tend to confer before signaling. Referee also has the option to go to the TMO for confirmation in this respect but in reality it has never happened to my knowledge.
Don't blame him for that one as he knows the Laws of the Game which I notice many ex-players-turned-commentators don't.
Well he's still a rubbish referee at the end of the day
Ryan, I take it you didnt put your tipping hat on at the bookies for the USA v Ireland game then!!!
Some good rugby so far, I was blue in the face shouting for Wales...soooo unlucky. Previously I had tipped SA for the tournament, now im not so sure!
Still here somewhere........
I wouldn't like to try & predict the outcome between the eventual two finalists,
but I'd say that a neutral ref from NZ will be required - AGAIN.
