Front, o/s driveshaft needed please and postage to ab301sj.

The threads on mine got buggered while being pushed out with a 10 tonne press, hammers, cold cut chisels and several applications of a very hot gas torch!

If John is struggling, I've got one kicking around. I know the ABS ring is cracked on mine though.

I have a couple of abs rings in the shed if you need one

Just to clarify things for me. What effect will the cracked abs ring have on the braking system?

Also does anyone know if it's possible to buy just the end of the driveshaft with the thread and retro fit it?

take the ring off your one and clean up nicks one then put the ring on it

a split in the ring will increase the duration of the pulse and could fool the abs system into thinking it was sliding that wheel

would soak it in gt85 or wd40 for a few days before hand to break any rust down

Sorry, just been a bit busy for a couple of days!

I'll reply to your PM shortly, James. For your info, I didn't realise that the ring was cracked on mine until I removed the drive shaft. I wasn't having ABS issues. Having said that, if I was fitting it I would make sure that I put a new ring on, doing what John suggested above.
