I can recommend Southwell Auto Center. But it ain't in Leicester. Nice chap and not to picky.
Try Chris at Tuna Motorsports in Keyworth if you fancy the drive out! Pablo their mechanic knows their stuff. Tell them miller sent ya!
Still here somewhere........
Good shout Mike cheers, met up with the lads from the tuna forum before, will get it booked in!
Place on Aylestone road, used to be Planet Bikes, can't remember what it's called now though, next to heritage Subaru
The best things in life have to be lubricated
Flew through every test but failed on emissions, passed two of the emissions tests but failed on Lambda
Any suggestions? Would taking the car for a blast and getting it roasting hot help this? MOT expires tomorrow and failing this not really sure what else to do!
Tester said it might be because the back box is so big (Fujitsubo SS)
What was the lambda? Roasting hot cat usually helps - the cat doesn't seem to get properly hot just sat idling.
fast idle :-
Lambda was 1.19 - FAIL
c02 % 0.03 - PASS
HC PPM 56 -PASS
2nd fast idle
Lambda was 1.16 - FAIL
c02 % 0.00 - PASS
HC PPM 18 - PASS

I've noticed it sometimes hunts around the revs when idling, could this be linked to a dodgy lambda sensor?
MOT expires tomorrow and not really sure what to do next Nick has kindly suggested checking with a multimeter, will see if I can get hold of one!
Edit - bizarrely all sorted, put her through her paces to get the cat smoking hot then flew straight through the emissions test!!! WOOHOO!!!!!
