I know, its sad that a grown man is interested in video games but what the hell. Its either talk to the missus or play video games....take your pick!!

I am debating whether buying it is worth the weeks of the silent treatment from Nicola....now trying to see what the problem was with buying it :-D

I've not played it, but several people at work have..... /ahem 'purchased' the product using a variety of P2P clients... And say it's rather good!

I very rarely play games, but I'm yet to get my copy of GTA San Andreas which is a must!!! oh and Grand Turismo 4 when they finally release it.

It's a bit like a FPS, but you are in a Tiger Tank with a platoon Tigers, by your side, hunting Shermans. Great 3D for it's time.

The standard Battles are in the Derst, then Italy and finally Normandy.

I don't get much chance to play on the X-box because Nicola won't allow it on when she is in the house, hates the thing, but I am looking forward to having a play of HALO 2.

Plus I have just bought myself a PB iMedia 1702 PC with AMD Athlon 3200+ 64 bit CPU and 17" TFT Can't wait for them to release some 64-bit games now!!

just got it by post this morning(i buy of a guy on the internet £2.50 a game )so ive not had a chance to play it yet,the wife is dreading it the first one caused many an arguement,i just couldnt put it down.just need to see how this one goes

Heh.. Back ON topic... Managed to kill about, oh 5 hours straight playing Halo 2 multiplayer... The games pretty much the same, just a lot bigger, better looking.. And you can blow more things up Definately worth getting a hold of anyway.

I rate it. Still gonna get myself another PS2 again just for GT4 though, I fully regret swapping to XBOX, the car racings nowhere near as good!

I'm flat sitting for a friend this week - fully expect to lose at least the weekend playing HALO 2.

I won't be too surprised if the whole week is spent on the XBox!

Not a Halo fan at all [plus I have a PS2 anyway !] But just finished playing Splinter Cell - Pandora Tommorrow; Excellent gaming, goes much deeper than the first but only lasted me about 2 weeks

Debating whether I can justify San Andreas - usually get games second-hand, but I think this may keep me occupied long enough to be bought new :-D

Oh, and I'm also waiting for NFSU 2 :-b

ok I dont really consider myself nerdy, but I have been working in IT for about 12 years so If I'm not nerdy by now I never will be.

However I do like playing games occassionally, I'm lucky enough that Lisa doesnt mind participating vocally from the settee while I play Burnout 3 on xbox live or Getaway 2 : Black Monday on the ps2.

Ordered Halo2 from amazon yesterday for 30 squids so I'll hopefully be playing that in a few days.

Does anyone want to share their xbox live gamertags with me for some online games ? My Gamertag is BobRabbit ( long story ) .

I bought Halo2 and was really disappointed with it. I think I'm too used to stunning graphical games on the PC like Half Life 2, Call of Duty and Far Cry. First Person Shooters don't work that well on a joypad, give me a mouse and keyboard and it's proper gaming.
However I had 6 mates pop around my gaffer last weekend for multiplayer gaming using a projector and a couple of TV's. Halo2 was quality fun as is Gotham Racing!

I thought that HALO 2 was meant to be a stunning graphical game ???
Had a MUHHASSIVE row with Nicola about the X-BOX. She doesn't want me to play it at all when she is there but said that I could as long as it was in the spare room. I said that was okay as long as I could take the widescreen TV, yamaha amp and wharfdale speakers with me.... oops!!

Now an addictive game is Novalogics Joint Operations. I lost 8 hours sleep over the weekend, playing this. You can play with up to 155 people online. And the best improvement over the previous games is that you can drive trucks and APV and fly helicopters. Awesome.

I was thinking of CVR4 team. Sad I know, but boys will be boys.

When IS GT4 coming out? Mind you haven finished GT3 yet, jus got a couple of pro races (Yaris racing Yuk!) and the endurance races (boooooring!)
