Ok think I get what you are saying. You have the engine + gearbox and wiring harness.
Now I will have to find out from others if an ECU from a 1997 will suit your car.

Over here in Holland, we use the term "front clip" too. Although it's 100% english, it's probably not commonly used in GB? Maybe it's a typical Yankees term?

Yes, front clip does look like that and it is a yanky term.

And yes it is perfect legal you don't graft on the front of a car to another one when it is a monocoque construction it is just a conveniant package for shipping.

But old anerican cars used to have a front clips that bolted on to the rest of the car as part of the factory design, front wings, inner wings, front valance, grill, all that sort of stuff was included, because they had a separate chassis which the engine and suspension bolted to and form the structure of the car.

    Bye for Now!

    Hi Unnar!

Are you able to provide the chassis number of the front clip? This will help to find out, which type of ECU you need and which type of AT computer you need. Further it is interesting to know, if there are letters on the AT gearbox, which say "OWC".

By the way, welcome to the club.

Hi Eyad, welcome to this great forum! Very cool engine swap you are doing! If you post your request for a complete wiring harness in the "for sale/wanted' subforum, you're probably get some responses.

Eyad, you would be much better starting a new thread with your question as it may attract more responses...... Moderators, can you creat a new thread for this?
