I dont have ASA on this laptop(reminder to myself to install it), but from browsing Amayama.com it looks like MR370730 - BOLT,RR BRAKE 10X30. You will need 4.

The vr4 bolts are the same thread pitch(M10), but are 16.5mm long, so are too short.

Oh and you might need to cut the brembo bolts down too...

Thanks for that, bolts are 100% different, may brembos got different thread pitch in different years?? my are the 'old' ones with clips on pads pins.

Ill have a hunt when Im home tonight with ASA, but from my quick look it looks like the evo5/6/7/8/9 all use the same bolt on the rear brembo's..

    Maybe yours have been retaped?

It could be the same bolts on all evo but vr4 ones are different (MR249200 10X16.5), I got bolts which fit brembos but I'm not sure if they are strong enough to be used on brakes, hence my searching for original ones, as long as I got mitsi nr I'm sorted, thanks.

evo and vr4 do not share the same thread pitch on the bolts at all, front or rear.

best to use the original evo bolts, and shorten the rear ones down,
or if you dont have the evo bolts, get Grade 8.8 or better.

Sorry for the late reply Adam, I got the rear bolts from Mitsubishi. The part numbers are MR370730 for the bolts and MR407073 for the washers. I had to cut them down by 10mm as per step 6 in the rear brake install instructions in post 13.

    Hi

Does anyone know what minimum rim profile requested to use when the brembo conversion is done? is it okay to use my existing 17x7 off set 40 rim + tyre 215/50 without rubbing the flare fender on FL vr4? just curious when my existing wheel used, is it will looked alike they getting off the body/fender? coz i dont want to, i want it stayed inside the fender. any advice will be highly appreciated

Its not all about size of the alloy, its their design. Im doubting that your alloys will fit over Brembo. Make sure you got an wheels design for evo 5 onward and you will be fine. Some cant fit 18' alloys over Brembos due to design of spokes but in the same car evo alloys 17' fits ok.

No not rubbing at all, but that's is another matter, stiff suspension not allow wheel move that much so not rubbing on flares.
