you could go to your alarms website and order a new fob, go to a car sercurity place and get them to re prog your fob, try ebay for a new fob then get it re programmed.

If you got cobra alarm, after battery change in fob, press both buttons for about 10 sec till red led start illuminate constantly and then release buttons and press once big (opening) button briefly, job done.
You need to be in fob range/close to car.

thats what i thought you did, but dont you need to push the alarm receiver key in the dash socet to put in in the right mode to accept the new remote. as ive not got that key or chip thing whatever you call it
intersting, ive got the remote in the car ill try it again, if it wont work does that mean my imobilisor modules not right?
right just tried it, not working tried 2 remotes both do nothing
I'm sorry but my knowledge about this issue is depleted (was always worked just fine for me and my mate Galants), may others can be more helpful.
every galant ive owned its worked on this one never has,
just looked under dash and was a fuse blown, put a new one in and the hazards just flash all the time and red imobilisor lights flashing, cant get remote to do anything, no siren tho, so pulled fuse out and it all stopped. strange, i read that you learn the remote by connecting a wire between 1 and 4 pin under dash, and push hazard switch 6 times, well that doesnt work either
