Looks excellent, but is it exposed to heat at the rear. Just a thought, as I use those vents a lot during the early morning winter time.

Thanks for the comments, I didnt make it so it could swivel, i thought the weight of the gauge may just pull it down when going over bumps. The vent can still be closed and there are options for how it will fit/look.
the boost gauge is really easy to install from there with no visible wires, i just drilled 2 holes inside the vent housing for the electrics and hose. I have sunk the face of the gauge into the pod to account for the curve, i like the rim of the gauge not to stick out too far so I'm well chuffed with it.

in my gallery(garage) there is one.
i just used a clamp and took out the vent.
been meaning to tidy it up with a back ground filler panel.
