AFAIK gbox is different on GDI and V6, you may consider VR2 ESTATE?? this could be first on the world
His FL Legnum VR4 running 238.8 ATW HP and 500Nm @1.05 bar on LPG
Hers PFL Legnum VR4 COTY see here for full story

any one built one before
All vr2 what I know is in saloon trim, so you could be the first to do estate, conversions was done b4 and it could be very similar to convert to v6 n/a or v6TT, you need engine, wiring loom, ecu, and gbox (V6n/a will work with V6TT).
Is your car has alloy or steel front subframe??
here is VERY useful info how to make ordinary (n/a) Galant go faster http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthr...bo)-Conversion
and here is how is go with V6TT in it http://thevee.smugmug.com/Videos/sli...016455_nPBVW8Z
im tempted to use my other one for parts but it just passed mot so maybe not yet
the one and only...Pearl White Legnum 25 ST-R...registered in Germany - now featuring a 6A13TT engine (unless you know otherwise)
very good question, i really need to know if my box will fit
i went manual, the tip was too **** for my liking, but the box from that did fit K's v6 very nicely and worked a treat.
As my PM said it is much easier to buy a complete car to rob for all the bits and bobs.
thanks for the info, did u mean the gear box should be alright? got some good info so definatly going to do it now
dont know if this helps but the starter is on the front of the gear box on the gdi
it might fit, but you'll still need the wiring loom for the v6 engine, which is part and parcel of the gearbox loom, so again it's easier to get a donor vehicle.
yea your definatly right, looks like ill have to keep an eye out for one
I have taken some pics fram a V6 N/A with gearbox attached. Red circle shows the starter motor position

As Evo guys use 4G64 blocks with 4G63 gearboxes, and we use 4G63 gearboxes with the 6A13 block, the GDI gearbox should fit the 6A13 N/A block. Don't know exactly how about the torque difference between GDI and V6 and the effect on the torque converter.
6A13TT with a 2WD MT gearbox is a different story of course, due to the clutch slave cylinder location...
Matthew, as said, I have the bits here you need, inc. loom etc...
