You were right Alan, police called today that they found the car abandoned. It has now been transported to the police station. I am now abroad but will go and take a look on saturday. The policeman said the bodywork should be reparaible, lets just hope that the engine or other components have no damage.
One side of the car is collided so that the atleast one side window is broken, did not get more info about the rest but i suppose the side was the worst damage. The ignition lock is broken and they have stolen the stereo and the in dash pc screen, probably broken the dash aswellDont know about the pc and amplifier

Hope the police catches the thieves aswell, it is in their interest beacuse they tried to run over 2 policemen

Does evo 7-9 have the immo built in ecu? Cause 5-6 models dont have and neither do any JDM- galants or legnums. Euro models got an IMMO at 1999 or something.
Was talking about euro Galant range, don't know about the EVOs... All euro 8G Galants got one, I think it's because they knew, that it will be must to get an approvement from oct.98. In Japan, they apparently don't steal the cars
its around £100 for a good alarm to fit yourself thatcham cat 1 type maybe worth puttin in once you get it back
I've made a similar mistake and waited on installing the alarm I bought a year before. When my 2DIN Pioneer headunit was nicked the alarm was in the next week... Should've done it straight away then the only damage would've propably been a broken window. Anywayz: that's for later, first get your car back from the police!
