New Engine Conversion

Hi Good people, i am new to this forum and would like help on an issue i am currently facing.
Over the weekend i changed the engine of my galant 1997 Vr-4(it had the non turbo 2.5 v6 after the original tt engine knocked due an to oil leak)
i put a new/used engine and gearbox together with the computers and wire harness.
the Engine is sounding great but is not accelerating when i floor it.
The Mechanic said its due to mis-communication btwn the gearbox computer and speed sensor, gradual acceleration is fine but its still not what i want out of it...any suggestions on what i should do?

Has he ecu got Traction control feature on it ?

also can you get the part numbers of the gearbox (top of box near the filter area ) and the gearbox/engine ecu's (also if they are metal cased )

Do I understand you have put a non-turbo V6 in what was previously a VR-4?
