Tuners/service in the Nottingham/Chesterfield/Sheffield area

Hi all,

I really ought to get the once over on my VR4 before I do anything to it, and I'd actually rather get someone who knows what they're doing to fit my Apexi S-AFC and Greddy boost controller.

Are there any garages/tuners locally you could recommend? I also need to get the whining bearing on the drive belt sorted...

Is he the closest? That's a good 2 hour drive now it's impossible to drive more than about 5 miles without a traffic jam on the M1!

Nobles in chesterfield have tuned vr4's with unichips, no idea if they can flash a standard ecu.

+ they have a 4wd rolling road, I have used them years ago before I got the vr4 an I was impressed.

It's a Dastek rolling road, Nev I think? They didn't like giving me numbers as they said the t/c distorted it. They also didn't like me hanging around whilst they tuned my car. But it is definitely 4WD otherwise it would be tricky setting up the unichip!

I could never complain about them though - I just hated the 3 hour round trip, plus petrol, plus £200 for a tickle on the tuning everytime I wanted it done!

Whereabouts in Nottingham? I have friends in the Kimberley area and it only takes approx 1h20min to get to them, a bit less if the roads allow you to creep over the speed limit!

I'm up near J28 of the M1 so it's a good 20-30 min run down to J23 dependent on traffic
