I've been lurking and abusing the search function for ages, figured it was about time I said hello to everyone whose posts I've been reading for the last few months!
So, hello!
Born and bred near Salisbury in Wiltshire, I'm now stuck living in the rainy ****hole called Cornwall with my parents due to finances and lack of any work down here.
However my dad and I are in the process of building a massive garage workshop which I'll be using to fix up the car when it's built.
(apologies for the number plate photoshop btw, I posted these on another, more public site)
This is my beautiful black Galoon, bought at the tender age of 19 as a second car while I was still in college (and broke). She looks great in these (highly photoshopped) pictures, but unfortunately underneath and mechanically she's a bit of a bucket since she cost me £1000 a few years ago, but I wouldn't dare get rid of her because she holds a lot of sentimental value. I'm going to be restoring and upgrading her with a whole list of ideas I've been working on when I've got the money. I joined CVR4 because you guys and gals seem to be the best and most knowledgeable Galegnum guys on t'internet, and being a bit of a mechanical virgin (I've done a few of my own oil changes, honest!), I'll probably be asking for advice!
That said, I know a fair bit about motors and Galants in a nerdy, theoretical sort of sense so I'll be helping out where I can.
