    Suspension parts from the US

I have been looking to buy new control arms and so on, basicly complete at the front. Not sure what all the names are(Wishbones, control arms, the stuff with bushings), but i hope u know what i mean. The question is if aftermarked parts are good enough? Is there something you would say i should not buy as aftermarked? The price difference is very large from norway, i basicly get the whole set @ the same price at one control arm in norway. Still with shipping and import taxes it will get cheaper.
The one and only... Galant with PFL VR4 bumper complete with fogs and Super VR-4 canards in Norway (unless you know otherwise)

Mods done: Eyelids, PFL VR-4 foglights, clear corner indicators and side indicators, VF-4 front strut brace, Custom rear strut brace, cusom "sports" air filter, lowered, custom sound system and Super VR-4 canards

Which parts? Be careful - the US 8th gen Galant has different suspension, I'm not sure which parts are compatible.

None. USDM galants (8G) have a Macphearson strut set up not unlike the evo. Lower arms are totaly different and there are of course no upper arms for multi link. I've been looking to use a USDM set up on mine, but even the inner wings are different as the top mounts are located further back to gain caster angle and are bigger. The nearest to ours is the 7g but even that I'd be carefull. 3G eclipse is the same as USDM Galant and 2G eclipse I believe the same as their 7G.
The rear of their 8G is another matter. That is a very similar set up, but I cannot confirm if it is exactly the same as ours. HTH

Guess my post dont make sense. It is not very easy to make myself clear when i dont know the english words for stuff.

To explain further, my car has a sound in the front end, sounds like a bushing going bad. So i started thinking of just changing it all, since one bushing already is going bad. I guess there wont be long before the rest get bad.

The parts i am looking for is control arms? Wishbone?

It would be nice if somebody could help me with the names, so i'll try to explain. The parts usually changed when u change bushings.

    search on 'recall status'

there is the jap mitsubishi site if you car is an import, and if it is not then your local mitsi web site will have a recall checking section on it.

not sure if yours is a VR4 or not.

    Bye for Now!
