Timeout???

Does anybody else have this problem. When I first log into site it's fine, but after 2 or 3 minutes or clicking on different posts, the site just won't let me do any thing unless I log out and come back on and then it all repeats. Just the spinny thing top left keeps spinning and does not locate whatever I clicked on. All other sites are fine and running IE8. If I've not been quick enough with this post, I'll have to log out again and then retype! Grrr

It could be the following,
Do you have the chat thing enabled
bottom left of page, if so turn it off.
All should be good after that.
