uploading pdf

i tried to upload a 800kb pdf file and the upload manager does not recognise the pdf file format, it does upload but when iserted into the post the file is replaced with a red "X" icon.

can we still upload pdf's?

any update on this, i have tried to upload another pdf and the attachment does not work.

I only uploaded the AYC one to the Library last week.

my attachment manager does not recognise the fact that the file is a pdf in the first place.
and i can't move previously uploaded files to the drag and drop area. to import it to a post again either.
