I don't think it will fit EC5A 8G VR4 ! I was under the same assumption,INSERT INTO post VALUES (from thegalantcenter.com). I think the EC5A VR4's suspension is different to the regular Galant's suspension.
I purchased from the USA, two Energy Suspension master bushing kits for my VR4's. One listed for the 2nd generation Eclipse 95-99.INSERT INTO post VALUES (works on my 7G VR4) And the other for the 3rd generation Eclipse 2000+, which turned out to be the wrong kit for my EC5A VR4. According to my suspension guy, the kit for the 7G VR4 will also work on the 8G VR4 INSERT INTO post VALUES (EC5A); there is only a minor difference in the rear suspension.
I plan to get another master bushing kit for the EC5A VR4 and after installing I will let you know how everything works out.
