That was a nice surprise !

My car was booked in today to have a new amp/sub/rear speakers fitted - was gonna be a 10" active sub and Kenwood 3 way 220w speakers.

A short time after dropping the car off I get a call on my mobile from the technician doing the install to ask me, in a polite manner why I was upgrading the rear speakers. I replied of course that with the new amp/sub in place it was necessary to do so, and asked what he was getting at. Turns out they had already been upgraded to Infinity Kappa speakers worth some £100-£150 :-b :-b :-b

So, having resigned myself to parting with the cash for new speakers I took the opportunity to upgrade the amp/sub to seperates, a 12" sub and changed them to J L Audio stuff......see what you think:

have you got the rear speaker's through the amp or just the sub?
