i think there is a thread on replacing the rear wiper arm with one of these smooth sleek numbers, but i can't remeber which can it came from. i thick it was from a VW.
but i don't see why if the motor spindles would be a different size on a lancer compared with the vr4.
Bye for Now!
The Lancer spindle is a different size. tried this last year

I've got one on my Legnum that looks like that, but it came on the car so I have no idea where it came from.
Dave, look here: http://www.clubvr4.com/forum/showthr...ight=wiper+arm (post #11 & 13).
This is a direct fit, but it'll cost some quid if you choose OE parts (was 70 EUR all inc.)
the one and only...Pearl White Legnum 25 ST-R...registered in Germany - now featuring a 6A13TT engine (unless you know otherwise)
thanks stefan , is it for a legnum/estate as mine a saloon?
As you have a saloon, you will have the washer nozzle below the wiper arm, correct? Then this will not work as there is not enough space below the Outlander wiper arm + you have to care about the height as the boot lid has to pass the plastic arm!
A friend of mine has done that mod to his 6G Galant and AFAIk he has used a rear wiper arm from a Honda Fit / Jazz as this one has enough space for the washer nozzle. I'll call him this evening and ask for you.
cool thanks stefan
Hi Dave! If you want to change the rear wiper on your saloon, then you can take a wiper arm from a Honda Stream. It'll fit the wiper motor from your saloon.
In Germany, the whole wiper assembly inc blade cost around 40 eur.
Stefan
thanks stefan, is it the normal hook type your friend has or the aero wiper arm?
Aero wiper arm
cool
Here's a picture of the wiper:
nice..liking it
just to be complete here...
Part# for the Honda OE rear wiper arm assembly is: 76740-S7A-003 (Honda Stream / MY 2001)
