Just like it says in the title...
ABS ecu is to the left of the glove box on the inside of the door frame.
Bye for Now!
I thought that was the AYC ECU?
It's on the side of the ABS unit in the engine bay, isn't it ? Relay is behind it, near the bulk head..
Glad there's a bit of confusion over this! It makes me feel less of a daftie!
i think there are 2 ecus to the left of the glovebox. abs and ayc
SRS is under the gearstick area
engine and autobox ecu are behind the center console inline with gear stick.
ABS ecu is in the engine bay as Glenn stated
Ask a simple question, never receive an answer these days
I cant remember exactly, but when i took mine out i am fairly sure it was in the cabin somewhere, and the glovebox does ring a bell
i have just had a look at asa and seem to suggest the 2 ecu's by the glove box are the AYC and ASC.
is the abs ecu moulded into the abs modulator pump assembly in the engine bay.
there are a couple of abs relays in the engine bay
Looking in the engine bay, it seems that the wiring for the ABS ECU is well hidden at the bottom of the ABS unit. It may be able to be detached from the main unit, but without pulling one apart myself, I can't be sure.
Cheers guys. I'll be having a poke this weekend hopefully.
Cars with ASC (PFL autos) have combined ECU-unit for ASC, TCL, ABS and AYC to the left of the glove box.
Cars with no ASC (PFL manuals and all FL's) have only AYC ECU to the left of the glove box and have ABS ECU on the side of ABS hydraulic unit in the engine bay
AFAIK
