Just realised that I never replied to this thread. We are aiming to attend this as normal but it is unlikely I will be going on track this year. Mainly because I am still trying to get to the bottom of some brake judder I experienced when the brakes were hot on track last year but also because the thought of doing an OPL track day with the MLR for £149 is currently more appealing than paying £70 for just two sessions at Combe.

I'm interested in going when is the final day for getting tickets? also is there camping there if not going in hotel? this would be a first event so is there anything to note? i would like a place on the stand if thats ok.

Is the parade lap at speed or just showing off the cars?

The tickets are first come first served, as is stand space. You can get entry tickets on the day, but they cost more. There is no camping at the show itself so you would need to Google camp sites around Chippenham area if you don't want the hotel. And the parade lap will defo NOT be at speed.

I'd say about 5 days before event - gives enough time for postage - but, if you really needed we could meet locally and ill hand you one.

i would have loved to come along to japfest, but my wedding aniversary is on the 8th May and the weekend next to it is always pre booked every year.

have a word with the organisers of Japfest and get them to move it for next year.
