"Original Owner" 1992 Galant VR4

I am using the term a bit loosely, seeing as how the car was a factory demo with approx 3500 miles on it when I bought it. I now have 327,000+ miles on the car. Engine was replaced at 267,000. Car is mostly stock except for K&N, exhaust, and short shift. Lot's of fun over the road miles and trips. Living just North of Portland, Oregon. Going to be visiting in the Edinburgh area May 21 through June 5th, wondered what might be going on car wise then? Also, have some thoughts about going to Isle of Mann TT races for a few days. Anyone have any tips about going to the TT. Thanks.

Hi & welcome to CVR4. I don't think there is much going on Car wise when your over. There might be something at Knockhill race track which is not to far from Edinburgh.

The best thing VR4 wise while you are over is that a few of us are going to the Nurburgring. That's a fair bit of travelling though for someone who has just done a lot of travelling! Check out the UK events section to see what is going on with us.

The Isle of Man (only one N) TT races are impressive. There aren't many tips to be honest, go, watch, drive VERY carefully as there are nutters on fast bikes everywhere!

Like Nick said there are a number of us travelling to the Nurburgring the last weekend in May......im sure a flight out of Edingburgh to Frankfurt and a hired car in Germany wouldnt be too financially hard.....I would with pleasure give you a pax ride around in my 1992 Lancer Evolution 1.....your galants smaller brother i suppose!
