I need a raid harware raid controller in my server, since the softraid seems to fail. It supports raid1?

Yep it does hardware RAID 1, but remember there's only 2 ports, you can do RAID 0, 1 and JBOD.

Although I haven't tried it with drives any larger, to limit the controller to 500GB is ridiculous, I've got no way of testing if it'll run the 2TB drive I've got either.
