if you are talking about the stabiliser bar that goes from the engine block to the top of the engine mount on the drivers side.
it is effectively just a metal bar with a hole in each end.
this stabilisers the engine for small vibrations at idle, rather than when accelerating hard.
i would have thought the torque damper would stop the engine moving front and back.
sorry this is not really a help for you.

    Bye for Now!

    Jep thats right.

    Something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Torque-Dam...item3a6f6b47d5

But i wanned to know if there is a bolt on version.

That little stabilizer bar that u mentioned isnt actually on my car! hahha, think that will be something i'm gonna make soon.

Meanwhile, someone else got some more info about a torque damper?

    Cheers

I'm not sure there is much need for one tbh. You already gave the front and rear roll shoppers, assuming they are in good condition then the engine shouldn't be rocking when you give it some especially if you fit Polly bushes

I got my engine swapped so its a little bit diff then yours.
I cant get a good front poly mount for mine. (aint the same as vr4)
And the other 3 are poly's (Switched it after 2/4 were torn)

The front one is torn twice now.
So with the torque damper, it will slightly spared the front mount so i hope it wont torn again.
And to make the vibrating a bit less when accelerate

you could do what the volvo cars do and put a bar forward from your strut brace and put some kind of bushing down to where the lifting eyes mount to on the engine.
if you know what i mean.
or use a standard after marker torque damper mounted in the same place. you would have to make up some brackets but it should not be to difficult to do.
