I would love to, but I have no car - well no car worthy anyway! I am not sure my 5 cylinders would cope :$

Oh noooo, don't! You know what my will power is like

Trying desperately hard to save money at the moment, and a car that's in need of a service.....

I was looking at that on the donny website on Saturday night and was thinking...."hmmmmm, yes!"

What's the deal with the day though, it's not an open pitlane from what I gather?

Thank God ...... you would thrash me

Yep - sessions I believe James. Not as good as open pit but depends on how many turn up I guess.

Save your pennies for a service, brake pads, tyres etc ready for next years track days! Went to my tyre supplier yesterday to see about getting them swapped diagonally (need removing etc as directional) and the guy asked me what I had done to my *new* DS2500 pads - he said they had half gone in just 6 weeks!

I've never done such a trackday organised by a track themselves

But I have heard of less discipline and less organisation at some of them so for me personally, such trackdays would be avoided so as to keep away from more racing types and careless inconsiderate individuals

BaT as we found at Donington were focussed on safety and smooth running with no interruptions to our track time

I am not convinced that tracks are as bothered about these things but its my view and a personal choice for me to stay away from such events

In posting about this type of day I know I said I stay away despite having been to JapFest at CC - slightly different event but attending this has been victory of optimism over experience?

So at JapFest, for ALL Jap cars and Jap cars only - emphasised by organisers - intimidated and cut up really badly by Repsol Escort

In defence of CC, the bad track days I heard of, IIRC, were in the midlands.......
