    UK Thankyou

So now I've found it. What could be the issue with it why I have no reversing lights

They seem to wear out . Try with a jump cable in the connector, if it lights the reverse lights then you need a new reverse light svitch. Of corse you can test the switch with a multimeter too
A new one is cheap, around 10 euro for a replacement

    corroded terminals, failed contactor internally,
unscrew the switch and test it with a multimeter.

Remove the connector from the reverse switch, then put a wire between the pins in the connector.. If reverse lights light up, everything else but the switch is working

When measuring the switch, the circut is open when the ball is not pressed, and if workning should be closed when ball is pressed i.e. close to 0 Ohms

Ok.. 12v straight from battery to the plug brings the reversing lights on

Multi Meter onto the 2 pins on the switch.. There is no ohms detected. And with the switch pressed it still shows no ohms
I take it that means that the switch is Fooooked

Thanx for reply. It does say GL4. But that's all I know. Nothing I can buy locally is a straight GL4. They are either GL5 or GL4/5.
    I've ordered some 75/90 GL4 from Don

    Cheers
