Just being curious, were there any changes to timing tables in your 7202 flash?
I'll be honest, there's not a lot in timing changes, they're pretty much on the ball from the factory. Although you can add as much as a few degrees for cruise, you're lucky if you can add 1-2 degrees in the power areas without starting to get knock.

(So yes, there were at most 1-2 degrees on my ROM)

    Here we go...
That's why I'm so fussy with cooling charge now, and trying different setups and so on. I know 6a13tt is PITA to play with timing hence my focus on how to get over this issue. With proper setup I think it's still massive room to play. My best dyno result was done on 97RON from BP with no knock.
    Ex: Galant VR4
Running 268 HP ATW and 443 Nm torque at 0.9 bar
    Now: Lancer Evolution 8 FQ-300
Running 325 HP ATW and 510 Nm torque at 1.6 bar

Never mined the dyno results. Lets see if you 2 (foxdie & swinks) can keep up on the track at JF2 when I have my flashed 7203 fitted

I will be having a dyno run when its fitted so we will see what the results are then The challenge for standard tubs has been set
The mighty Leedsnum has gone but the Airtrek mods will soon fill this space

    You're on

But, you do realise that just fitting a 7203 won't really give you any decent performance boost? Sure it'll up you to 276 HP but it'll still need tuning

It will be getting flashed but I may get you too have a look at it as well at JF2. Remember I never had the IC,fuel pump & FPR fitted when I got 248 ATW. With them fitted I get in the 13's on a 1/4 mile all day long so with a flashed ECU who knows?

It adds a bit of fun to the track sessions

So, a drag strip between Tomasz and Jason?

Very nice result Jason. The dedication (and money) paid off.

Yep, it's an awesome result. Someone running a rolling road day once told me that to get a true comparison between cars you should add the torque and power figures together. He said 10 hp difference isn't a big deal if there is 50 lbft difference too.

It's beaten my best with VOR, both power and torque, so hats off to you Jason. That's quite a car you have there!

You can pat yourself on the back too given you've done half the work on it

have been toying with an idea of a cvr4 meet at santa pod on a rwyb day , i know there would be the likes of 17 year olds in saxo ect but we could just ignore them. if its something that people would attend bearing in mind the lack of attendance at japfest then i will go ahead and get info and threads on the go .
