Hi everyone,
I thought I would try on here incase anyone has one kicking around.

I'm after an FTO. I don't care what condition, engine, gearbox, colour, spec or even if straight or complete.

Ideally in White with a straight, rust free chassis, most of the interior & facelift (late 97+) but not essential. Blown engine, crashed, reported on hpi are not a problem. Heck, I will even take one with lost keys or documents as long as you are the legal owner.

Not fussed where you are but closer to Norfolk the better

Wow.. There was an FTO just round the corner that was up For Sale for 4 months +
But it sold only a short while ago. Think he's got a GTO up for sale now I'll keep my eye out for you though

Thanks guys. Colour isn't essential as i can get it sprayed anyway. There are 2x sitting down here but they are both rotten as underneath

Yep sure will. Another project one of the other FTO's is being used for is 4.0 v8 rear mounts, rwd so should be interesting

there's a thread on the FTO owners club site at the mo about a garage who have transplanted a full set of evo running gear and engine into an FTO - including transplanting the entire floor pan. Only a show car but will be fully working apparently.

That's not really putting 4WD running gear into an FTO, really, is it!? It's more putting an FTO body onto an Evo chassis!

It's like the talked-about-but-rarely-seen Ford Anglia 105E which was "made 4wd" by putting an Anglia bodyshell onto a Sierra XR4x4 chassis - and adding about 10" to the width!

On the other hand, my dad did it properly, and has modified Subaru 4wd running gear to fit the Anglia chassis

IIRC the FTO chassis was cut down to the absolute minimum and the evo floor pan welded onto it but I take your point, there's not much FTO about it anymore!
