    evoscan data loging

    hay guys have look every where on this topic any body sucessful in data loging the legnum v6 with evoscan have problems with readin tps which stays at 97% where ever you have throtle idle or wot also doesnt read fuel trim any callibraiting needed with evo scan to read the legnum engine and ecu properly

    Hi Shane,

    What ECU is in your car? You say Legnum V6, do you mean the proper Legnum (twin turbo, 4WD) or a Galant V6 estate? (normally aspirated ie. non-turbo).

    The purebred Legnum should be logged as Mitsubishi MUT-III and the non-turbo V6 logged as OBD-II 96+ (Can't verify the latter works, never tested it!)

    There is no calibration, you're reading values what the ECU sees / has determined, all calibration will have been done at the factory.

    yes proper v6 twin turbo and plastic case ecu with 7020 chip will try mut-111

    yes i am in mut-111 and still does not read my fuel trims or tps properly any ideas

    MUT-III, Baud set to 15625.

    When Evoscan is initialising the ECU, does it give you a 4 digit identifier (ECUID)? (something like e7a4 - depends on rom and configuration, but should be similar)

    of your not getting that, then it's not handshaking properly.

    yes does all that conects properly reads rpm timming wgdc and few other things properly just not tps or fuel trims reads rpm same as cars gauge

    ok, can you screenshot and upload your MUT table from ECUflash.

    or upload the ROM that is currently on your ECU (download it using ECUFlash)

    i use evoscan 2.9 taxtrix 2.0 and ecu flash windows 7 cant figuer how to put rom on here send me a email and i can email it no probs

    Yes, upload ROM and i'll check it out.

    Out of curiousity, what version of Evoscan you using and what cable are you using (assumine openport 2.0?)

    What OS do you have? win xp/7 x64/x86, etc
