Fiio E7 Portable DAC/Headphone Amplifier (USB)

This is still under warranty (10 months old).

It pairs with Fiio E9 headphone amplifier - mine has just developed a fault and is being returned under warranty. I am replacing it with a more expensive combo.

I have been using the E7 with my iPod touch - it improves the sound quality quite a bit via a LOD (Line Out Dongle). Also, I use it with my Macbook Pro to bypass its internal DAC.

It is powered by a rechargeable battery and USB.
