Barry, every time I refresh or just pick a page to view I'm getting the moderator drop down box appearing very briefly then disappearing?

this happens on firefox & not on google chrome if that helps?

Ok, just tested on barry, same usergroup settings as you - used FF11, Opera11.10 and Chrome17.0 - all worked as expected.

Can you do a CTRL+F5 from Firefox and see what happens?

Try and disable your addons and see if it works, might be a case of one by one to figure out which is causing it im afraid.

Do you have another machine with FF installed? - I'd like to try an narrow down the issue.

Hmm, i really don't know what to do next - I know its not a permisions thing cos it works on Chrome for you, design don't think either because i can get it to work on my machine with the same permissions as you.

What happens in IE?

Seems to take a long time to update pages now, it was almost instant before the upgrade but now it is a lot slower, maybe 10 seconds. Sometimes quicker sometimes slower.
I thought this could a settling down time thing. Maybe it will get quicker in a few days.

OH MY GOD! IE is crap. The font is really small & the lay out is just bad, that's in my opinion.

So back to the point here it doesn't do it through IE

I'v just installed FF & am on it now. I'm getting the same as what Steve described. Moderator drop down box appearing then go's after about 5 seconds.
