CVR4 Footer Menu - Issues

With version 4.1.11.1 of CVR4 we saw the introduction of the CVR4 Footer, the primary driver for this was to ensure all CVR4 Members have access to everything they require from one location, no more hunting for that link!

Please use this thread to discuss any problems, issues or of course improvement suggestions.

Do I need to switch to new design somehow like we have to do b4?? Sorry for being thick but cant find what's is show on your screenshot

your not the omly one adam i don't see any footer menu either.
i switched to useing my lap top as i thought it might be a ipad thing not seeing the footer menu but no i can't see it on either formats.

i too have found this out,
footer are set to active by default, but you have to disaple them then enable them to see the footer menu.

is the footer menu the only place to get to your PM's now?

oh no, that's not right you can get to them from your username drop down menu at the top of the page next to your avatar.

Clicking your avatar works as a ' what's new ' button as well.

Now I have my footer menu switched on, I does some funny things on iPad with Surfari.
The footer appears at the bottom of the page when you fist open a page but as you scroll down the footer is not connected to the bottom of the screen and goes up the page with all the other page content, and disappears off the top of the page.

Very odd!

Going try it with sky fire now.

Disappears off the page as well with sky fire. Can't cancel the auto correct spell check either not sure it is related.

Footer menu still does not stick to the bottom of the page.
It scrolls up with the test on the page.
On iPad sky fire and Surfari.

Ok, well tbh it's not designed for tablets, which is why I have an option to disable.

The iPhone/iPad app will be along soon and hopefully that should take away any Of these issues.

Unless of course between now and then there is a resolution to this issue, it's not my code you see - the coder is aware but not ready to resolve, Infact let me go check now.

Oh, i did check - there is no update to the footer code for tablets yet.

I made a change which hopefully has foced this setting on to everyone ?
