G'Day from Down Under!

Hi all VR-4 fans,

So I've been a club member for a month or so after buying a 2000 Legnum VR-4 and thought it'd be about time to say hi!

This club has already been a great resource which I've found very helpful with article info and nice members I've had had AYC issues (the pump is being re-fitted at end of month) so far, but other than that, things are great.

So my car came with a few Jap addons that I've had to remove like a Comtek GPS radar detector which I've had to take out, but is in fantastic condition in and out with 52,000km on the clock. From the looks of the condition, especially underneath the car, I'd say this is a legit figure.

Basic changes so far - I've installed a Turbosmart eBoost2 boost controller, tinted the front windows at 20%, K&N panel filter, changed plugs to NGK Iridiums and ordered a cat-back exhaust with front dump pipe kit to be fitted shortly. I've also ordered a Forge Big Split R BOV (I hope this was a good idea...) and Walbro 225L/hr fuel pump, and plan to get a tune after all is is fitted. Any suggestions please let me know

My only problem is boost spiking at about 9.5psi and holds at 7psi, even with the controller set at 10-12. Am working on getting this sorted..

Welcome steve, good to see you got spare towel/blankets and a$$ wipes sorted(last pic) incase ya get booted out of home or emergency, never thought about that=P. love the carbon centre and the eboost2.

Looks good, just need to do something about those wheels - your registration plate is amusing (CEL = Check Engine Light), hehe.

welcome dont know what others have found but if u'r raising the boost you should realy upgrade the intercooler its crap!!!!! and the little turbo's need all the help they can get.
