Same date as Japfest...?
Yes Chris, there are some people who may not be going to japfest so if there are able to they can come to mine for a mini meet.

n hack your old car to bits lol
I can pop in on Sat. afternoon if there is no a problem, but without grinder
More than welcome mate. I also have found my old alarm fob so you can take that if you still wanted it.
For those interested in popping over, I will be starting next Saturday around 9am (weather depending), first taking the car off the axle stands and onto the ground, then start chopping up. I have a small angle grinder with some new cutting discs, but will be hiring a 9" grinder for the weekend (and I'll buy a stock of cutting discs too). Alternatively, if anyone has a 9" grinder I could borrow/use for the day/weekend, I'd be willing to pay to 'rent' it off you
My tarp idea of fitting a roof to get out of the weather is feasible, but the largest tarp I found and bought (5m x 8m) doesnt quite reach across the garden and is difficult to fasted to anything on one end.
I can pop over on saturday - not sure when and how long for yet though. I'm afraid I borrowed a 9" grinder when I did mine, but I can bring my little grinder with me on the day. If I am running behind with my project, then I won't be there though!
Atik, I got that somewhere in garage

Sorry, Atik, I don't think I will make this. I am getting nervous about putting my car back together!
No problem Nick. You are definitely cutting it close with all that work to be completed before the 'Ring trip! I'm sure you will manage it though. If you need a short break, you know where I am so feel free to pop round.
I have a fair few bits still attached to the car, but with the massive array of spare parts on these forums, I dont see any point in keeping them to sell, so they will be going in with the scrap metal once I've cut it all up into bitesize chunks! There is also the glass panels to deal with.
My only worry is the fuel tank, as I think there is still a few drops of fuel left in it! The last thing I want to do is start angle grinding with fuel around!
Anyway, for those popping round, feel free to bring any cutting/demolition/protection (and by protection I mean safety masks/goggles etc) gear you may want to use.
Get a bucket, then hammer a pointy screwdriver through the bottom of the tank. Catch the fuel and pour it into the rednum. Do the same both sides though because of the hump.
The tank itself plastic, so no worries about sparking whilst hammering it.
I should be at 2-3pm, Nick if you will chenge mind take strut brace for me.
Atik I found smal grinder, meaybe that will help.
Atik what are you doing with the glass ?
also doe's it have a moonroof ?
No moonroof, and glass is currently fitted but will have to work out what im doing tomorrow.
