First, i need to buy a Battery, which is gonna cost about 180 quid..

for the cable I used 0 gauge, I plan on welding a bracket on to chassis for the Negative Terminal, rather than running two cables.
Cheers Barry, I will hunt around for some more docs/guides ere and start collecting bits I may need. Getting 0 gauge wire through bulkhead should be interesting..

Calling Mr Miller!!??! Have you started/completed this yet on the RS?

All done on mine! Lets see if I can get some pics up....

Edit, no pics so to speak.

My cable is run under the car until it meets the rear passenger seat floorpan, it enteres car up here then into the boot. It helps on mine as the protector plates have enough of a gap to run the cable through.

Otherwise there is a big hole in firewall on the passenger side, remove the windscreen washer bottle and you will see it beneath that....I would use this if its available, just unsure on the 6g
    Still here somewhere........

Cheers Mike, I will take a look see if its the same on the galant.. Running the cable down the passenger side would be ideal.. an under bonnet shot of how its all connected up front would be good when you have time, plus would be good to see what other goodies you got installed in there
