    Water Bottle on Passenger side?

Do you think its possible to put the wiper water bottle on the Passenger side, rather than the driver side? (bearing in mind the battery is going in the boot)

Is there a hole under the battery tray for the bottle filler? infact, is there space behind the bumper for it to live?

Also, how many liters does it hold?

    Thanks
    Barry

Yes theres plenty of room. It wouldn't be able to be just swapped straight over thou. As the brackets would be wrong. Not sure if theres a hole already under the battery tray, but not hard to sort. As for how many litres ? Loads

Put it in the boot with your battery. Leaves enough space at the front to only need to remove the bumper to drive onto normal ramps

    cheers

I think it's quite obvious, but it's the method of implementation that's hopefully going to be unique.

It's a side pointing jet for aiming at irritating cyclists/pedestrians/tally vans/vehicles in the slow lane.

I'd say there is plenty of space. The plumbing and brackets would have to be slightly imaginative though.

    It's for a 2 nd washer bottle

Because Barry has just purchased the back end of the Leggy i am breaking, so he can weld it on his Galoon. And at last have a complete car So the extra bottle is for his new wash wipe rear screen

Or his moving it to the passenger side. So his wife doesn't have to walk so far, when she gets out to fill it up Very thoughtful Barry

I bought a universal washer bottle kit from eBay for about £13 to do an intercooler sprayer. The bottle is about 5L, and can trigger it off my ebc when I go over a preset level of boost.
Not sure how long 5L would last, but it is a nice compact unit. The only thing I have to find extra are the spraying heads, I have some windscreen washer jets but they are a bit concentrated jetty things and not misty enough I think. so household stay bottle heads will do the trick if I can mount them ok and the pressure create by the pump is good enough to make them spray.

Anyway I have hijacked enough sorry Barry.
I am expecting a "GET YOUR OWN THREAD" comment!

    Yes, it will fit there

You have to cut off one of the brackets, but there is a bolt just behind the side of the bumper, that you can loop the plastic mount over and then add a nut to secure it. On the chassis side you have to cut down one of the plastic arm brackets, but it all fits. It holds 5 litres.
You have to cut a hole (circular hole cutter) just to the side of the battery base plate, and the neck of the filler will sit in the corner beside the battery.

I have one there for meth injection and intercooler spray

The problem with the activate jets based on boost level more often than not is to late for it to have any real benefit, as is activating the spray based on inlet temp - the cooling needs to occur right at the very start, rather than several seconds afterwards by which time the build up of heat takes longer to cool, If that makes sense.

My cunning plan is to not only use these variables but also about 4 others to determine when to spray, or not...

However, I need more time to work on solution before I'm happy it will work.

Cool, so you managed to get it in ok? Or you planned it and yet to do?

Did you use/have a vr4 bottle? - sounds like this may not be so hard after all.

Do the left hand drive cars have it mounted on the opposite side ?

I dont think so, otherwise the filler hole would already be precut?
