Ah cool, didn't see that thank you very much.
Don't suppose you have a video of them in action?
a neighbour had a oil pressure gauge, i took the pipe from before the splitter on bonnet and pushed it on the back of the gauge, seems to have done the trick

hey guys,
Anyone got a picture of (or can take) the water bottle and how it is attached to the car? - perhaps you took a picture when the panel and bumper was off? - i want to see if i can fit another water bottle on the passenger side of the car, so ideally a picture of both sides.

no picture but, two legs attach to chassis rail, the mount on top attaches to the inner wing (the bit between the indicator and headlight) the neck comes up thru bottom inner wing and mounts inside on inner wing...
if ya follow? lol

Barry, I have a complete washer bottle out of the car.
I'll photo it and put it up in about 15min
old age and treachery will outdo youth and skill anyday
Ok I suppose I should have read your first post fully.
The bottle I have, has a rotatable filler neck and spout, which infers it is reversable.
While the four anchor points should fit ok, I think the filler neck will be at an awkward angle and may not fit in beside the battery.
i'm not so worried about the battery as that's going in the boot shortly - so the filler and mushroom intake will be fighting for space
Hopefulyl someone will have a picture to hand, just need a side on shot behind the horn to see whether there are any holes to bolt to.
As far as I can make out, there are 2 cage nuts on the passenger chassis leg to anchor the bottle to.
The topmost anchor may pose a problem with the closing of the bonnet, as the neck will need to swivel 180, and there is no anchor point to mate it to.
You have to cut off one of the brackets, but there is a bolt just behind the side of the bumper, that you can loop the plastic mount over and then add a nut to secure it. On the chassis side you have to cut down one of the plastic arm brackets, but it all fits. It holds 5 litres.
You have to cut a hole (circular hole cutter) just to the side of the battery base plate, and the neck of the filler will sit in the corner beside the battery.
Cheers Louis, good info.
Don't suppose you have some photos?
These pictures any good?

I will try and get some pics later today, in your last photo zoom in on the water bottle and you will see at the top the outer fixing.
On wintertidenz photo of two cables coming out ftom the battety area through the wing you can see a threaded stud at the bottom left as you look at the cables. That hang point bracket goes on to this stud and secures with a nut. This takes all the weight, and one of the long plastic brackets (the longest one) can be cut down. The long plastic brackets brace the bottle againt the chassis, there are holes in the chassis to bodge a fix with to the shorter of the long brackets.
The bottle sits with the pumps facing the tyre when fitted. The hole cut for the filler still allows the use of the battery tray. The filler neck is rotated to suit, i will stick a couple of piccys up later.
