Has anyone used this product or something similar, that they could recommend.

Been looking at getting new grill plates for a used barbecue that i purchased from Mark4 last year. But the prices are more than i really would like o pay. but if i have to i will..
So i have been looking at other options including stainless steel grills to fit and plates for other BBQ's that might also fit. But i can't find anything suitable. Also looked at getting them re-enamelled, but again the price was too high.

So started looking at products that i could use myself to refurbish the 1 x plate and 2 x grills with. Came across Stovax Thermolac Stove paint. It seems to be widely used on refurbishing stoves and barbecues and seems that it is going to be the right product. But was just wondering if anyone on the club has already used it? And which one did they use? Brush on or spray? And what were there findings on the product..

And it can be purchased in different colours, so could be good for painting engine bay parts

Obvisouly it can take the heat.
Just don't know about using it for food prep!
Have you tought about looking in junk shops for an old oven and using the grills froms that?
