New clutch/pressure plate! Hairline fractures on flywheel?

Tonight I took out the manual gearbox of my VR2 and got confirmed what I suspected: the pressure plate (ACT) had a finger broken off. Glad that I bought a new clutch/pressure plate/bearing set (Exidy) from ebay UK some time ago.

However... upon close inspection I found many very fine hairline fractures/cracks in the pressure plate. We were/are not sure what to think of it...

We did put the new stuff in and put the gearbox back in place, to be finished tomorrow, but the flywheel issue doesn't feel right... I'd love to hear your ideas regarding this!

isnt that the same thing that happened to i think dutch_driver in his VR2 the act pressure plate snapped a few fingers of? id be sticking to exedy myself
the flywheel may be saveable sometimes its just surface cracking from expantion and contraction of the steel, take it to a clutch shop and they may be able to machine it back into spec for you or tell you its buggered. IMHO i think a good skimming will be sweet as and you can reuse that flywhel with a new clutch. but as GLY said dont reuse it in its current state!
