    boost problem

    P3280097.JPGhi guys i installed an aem tru boost controller its working but at 16 psi in third gear its dropping till around 13 psi its not keeping a constant 16psi on 1st and 2nd gear it will not reach 16psi it wll range around 12-13psi on the other hand on third gear it reach 16psi but will drop to around 13psi but on 4th and 5th it will range around 15-16psi anyone having dis problem??????

    normaly cars have restricted or lower boost in 1st & 2nd which would explain that, but as for reaching 16 then not holding it sounds like a leak to me

    if its a leak then why does it have full boost in 4th and 5th?

    My brother had very similar issues on his s14a and it turned out to be slack on his actuator arm.

    You shouldn't really be pushing our small turbos over 14psi anyway. They start to surge at 16psi IIRC.
