Ask a simple question, never receive an answer these days
I'm just looking into that now Peter..... You definitely can, but they do not list them for 6a13 so if I'm right then the evo ones are the same, but you need 2 boxes so be prepared for a bill around the 450+mark for heads and mains
Well just the head studs I'm after at mo. The ones for my V8 were a lot cheaper than that figure
I should have part numbers for you next week though
The ones that fit the VR4 are the same as the 1.8GSR and not the same as the 2.0L Evos.
Cool, are you definite on that? You would still need 2 boxes though. Do you know if the mains are the same?
Ah ok, thats interesting.... Glad we've got the headstuds sorted though.
If you need some parts, we have a supplier here in NZ that has head studs and other rebuild parts. Their head bolt sets are $40NZD.
Have a look at www.staparts.co.nz and see if they do shipping maybe?
I have been reading that they may be the same as an EVO123. If this is the case then you can also use 3sgte studs I believe
I know of a guy in NZ using 3sgte head studs. I've compared dimensions of the stock 3sgte and 6a13 bolts, and they're almost exactly the same.
Yep. I'm keeping an eye out for them as well. Also flywheel bolts.
The flywheel bolts have an 11mm thread diameter with a 1mm thread pitch. Properly weird stuff! Can't help on the head studs unfortunately though.
Ordered studs as camskill have let me down. Didn't let me know any of the parts I needed were out of stock and had to be oredered for delivery on Monday next week as long as they arrive from there supplier
ARP part number 203-4204, 2 sets required
