If you're talking about all-round most worthwhile mods, I suppose the top major shortcoming about our cars is the stopping power. Braided lines, Carbotech XP8 pads on the front, AX6 on the rear, with stock discs is known to make a big difference.

If you're just talking about performance, providing the car is healthy, (without trying to poach business, just being honest in my opinion), the best quick gains can be had from a panel filter, uprated intercooler, de-cat and an ECU remap. These can be had for under 500 quid and typically yield around +30 HP and +50 Ft/Lbs.

I realise this doesn't necessarily apply to your motor though as don't you have aftermarket cams Rich?

In my case, so far, the most power gains I feel (not dynoyed yet) after IC upgrade to 600x30x76, all parts for conversion cost me around 140£, decated yesterday and not try it properly yet but so far it seams it gain a little more torque at lower revs, of course the cheapest way is to fit MBC but if you start playing with boost IMO is had to be monitored via wideband to make sure you not running lean.

Of course the basic mods like Brembo upgrade, exhaust, panel filter and so on are worthwhile also.

    Buy Evo 4-6.
You'll be better on money and performance.

So looks like you are at same situation as myself, I think the next 'level' is to start 'use' all mods what we done already by proper ECU mapping, Im on the market now looking to get one of that 3port selenoid and then remap.

You have no choice then, but go for 2 big turbos and deep pockets and thick wallet.

Im running 13.8 and all I have done at the moment is decat and boost at 0.6 bar with MBC. I had overfuelling and low boost cut issues (hence the 0.6 bar) whilst I ran that time. That was running on a standard panel filter too. I hope to knock some time off that by adding 255lph fuel pump, stainless downpipes, ralliart panel filter, FMIC and Electronic boost controller and a possible remap if funds allow.

I would say the most wortwhile performance mod is bigger turbos. Thats the only mod that can give big gains as the stock ones are so small
Getting it guick is much more of a hassle compared to a Evo but I really love the looks of a Galant and prefer V6 to I4

If you haven't done it already, do the full exhaust system. That should help slightly.

    ... and downpipes

edit: He has quite a comprehensive list of everything that's been done on his Car Profile and he's done all that.
