Anyway, it should be direct replacement.
thats good mitsi pistons tend to be quite good, and on EVO's just doing a "rod job" means you can safely run around the 500/500 mark.

We pushed the vr4 to 630bhp and 545lb/ft before we started getting problems with the cranks.

I'm in a similar boat myself. My conversion is costing far more than expected & I am out of the country again throughout August so my pennies are going elsewhere. Am still very interested but realistically not going to be able to justify this until end of the year
Possibly the only VR4 that was driven by the current owner before being registered..... & it's a UK car

From the looks of things, it's just a set of 12 L19 bolts of a certain dimension. We should be able to look up the part number in the ARP catalogue.

Anyone have the complete arp catalogue.. the one online only has car specific kits,
with little or no detailing, unless I'm completely blind?

    Hey Tomasz,

Sorry- i didnt read the entire thread!

Just check with the manufacturer that the rod shoulders will fit into the stock bore. Often aftermarket rod big ends are pretty beefy.

    Cheers,

    BEn.

I'm pretty sure they will do, but gonna check twice. I know that kochajj has the trial batch and didn't report back any issue with them, but as you said, better check it out.

    Just confirmed following:
    - there is good clearance and no fitment issues with crank, crankcase, heads etc.
    - this rods will fit p&p with stock Mitsubishi pistons.
Been checked and tested by kochajj on his spare engine.
