    10mm spacers

hiya guys, been busy playing with my peugeot over the show season but i now have a new set of wheels sat in the garage and it might be time to start playing with the vr again :-)

basically im going to need a 10mm spacer to get them on as there et41 on a 9j but the question is with a spacer of that size, will the standard studs be long enough? or should i just cut the studs and fit a hubcentric 15mm as that seems less hassle than removing the hub and swapping studs.

You will need to change the studs over to longer ones, I have tried with 9mm on std studs and it popped the wheel nuts off. If you do go with a 10mm spacer you will need it to be hubcentric like the 15mm one.

Sound like the arches might rub if you go thar far.
    Make sure you check first.
What tyre do you have on the 9j rim, adaxo had 245/40/18 I think , it could have been 35, as a trial fit and the inside of the tyre only cleared the hub carrier by about 1mm, which was not enough to guarantee no rubbage.

My good, they are going to be stretched to the max, not sure that is going to help the handling.
The side walls are going to be a about 45deg angle or more.
They might not seal to the rim.
    Adaxo's rear 9j with 235/40/18 were stretched.

If you have used this combination of tyre and wheel before and you are happy with it then that is fine, you know what you are getting yourself in to, but if be careful.

Good luck, hope you have an understand tyre shop. A good tyre shop can work wonders with tyres and make most tyres fit most rims.
You are really going for the old school euro look with that stretch

Sorry for the bad spell of stretch in above posts, I will remidy that now.
